STEM Education

Spark Creative and Innovative Learning

ViTrox Academy envisions developing young and great minds in STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

We want to establish a creative place where our kids and next generation gather to tinker, create and make wonders!

  • Integrate both technical skills and soft skills programs in the form of workshops, short courses, and long courses, exploratory events, competitions etc.

  • Coach by mentors and engineers from real-world industries.

  • Welcome all primary and secondary school students from Penang Island and Mainland (Seberang Prai areas).

In collaboration with Arus Academy, ViTrox Academy initiated this program to bring primary and secondary school students to ViTrox Campus 2.0 for factory visits, STEM workshops, and soft skills workshops.

Girl in Engineering Tech (GET)

To inspire more female students in joining the engineering and tech field, ViTrox Academy bridges the gap between students and female industry professionals, by exposing them to the real industry.

School Visitation

In order to stimulate young minds in the technology industry, we hosted several secondary school visitations to offer students a glimpse into the professional world.

First Tech Challenge

Presented by Penang Science Cluster, FIRST® Tech Challenge Malaysia Championship aims to empower young generation to be leaders specializing in energy-driven innovations.

This event is supported by ten companies namely Plexus, Jabil, Motorola Solutions, ViTrox, Agilent, HPMM, Keysight Technologies, NI, Greatech, and Micron.

In FIRST® Tech Challenge 2021/2022, two teams representing ViTrox Academy achieved high ground by showcasing their inventive robot creations.

After 4 months of intensive preparation, SMJK Chung Ling Butterworth Team was crowned The Champion of the Competition, while SMJK Convent Dato Keramat was awarded Honorable Mention. Bravo and congratulations! 🎉🎉
