ViTrox Supports Participation of Young Talents in Tech Challenge

PENANG, MALAYSIA - APRIL 2024 - ViTrox is proud to celebrate the achievements of young Malaysian STEM talents – Chung Ling Butterworth High School, under the mentorship of ViTrox’s engineers, emerged as the champion team in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Malaysia 2023/2024, earning the opportunity to represent Malaysia at the prestigious international competition in Texas, USA. 



Recognising the team’s potential on the global stage, the ViTrox Foundation, the Group’s philanthropic arm, provided an additional RM30,000 sponsorship to support their participation in the upcoming international FTC competition in Texas. This generous contribution ensures that the talented students from Chung Ling Butterworth High School can represent Malaysia with all the resources they need to compete at the highest level.


As a local homegrown company, ViTrox has consistently demonstrated its dedication to advancing STEM education in Malaysia. Being a sponsor of the FTC national competition, ViTrox provided mentorship and competition funds. This initiative reflects the Company’s belief in fostering a strong foundation in STEM for students across the nation.


Under the guidance of experienced mentors from ViTrox, the Chung Ling Butterworth High School team excelled in the January 2024 FTC Malaysia competition. Their dedication, combined with the valuable expertise provided by ViTrox, culminated in a remarkable victory. This win not only signifies the team’s exceptional talent but also underscores the dedication of ViTrox’s engineers for budding STEM education.
