ViTrox Academy envisions developing young and great minds in STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
We want to establish a creative place where our kids and next generation gather to tinker, create and make wonders!

V-Apprentice
Programme
In collaboration with Arus Academy, ViTrox Academy initiated this program to bring primary and secondary school students to ViTrox Campus 2.0 for factory visits, STEM workshops, and soft skills workshops.
First Tech Challenge (FTC)
First Tech Challenge is a program under the Penang Science Cluster (PSC), where ViTrox Academy provides our Makerspace and mentorship to support the students in robot making.
Girl in Engineering Tech (GET)
To inspire more female students in joining the engineering and tech field, ViTrox Academy bridges the gap between students and female industry professionals, by exposing them to the real industry.

In order to stimulate young minds in the technology industry, we hosted several secondary school visitations to offer students a glimpse into the professional world.
First Tech Challenge
In its third season, the First Tech Challenge spanned from July 2023 to January 2024, marking a significant milestone in our students' journey. Throughout this period, the two student teams, one from SMJK Convent Dato Keramat, and another one from SMJK Chung Ling Butterworth, they showcased remarkable growth and maturity, evolving to a point where they could independently construct the robot with minimal guidance from our dedicated mentors (Vitroxians).
As the championship day arrived, the students exuded newfound confidence on the stage, a testament to their dedication and relentless efforts in mastering their craft. The precision and finesse with which they maneuvered their well-constructed robot translated into impressive scores, earning them notable recognition in the competition. Their collective achievements on this pivotal day were further highlighted as they proudly received several well-deserved awards, underscoring their exceptional skills, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.

Such outstanding accomplishments would not have been possible without the invaluable support of ViTrox, whose generous sponsorship provided an additional RM1000 for materials to each team. This support significantly eased the financial burden faced during the meticulous construction of their robots.
As the crowning achievement, the students from SMJK Chung Ling Butterworth, clinching the championship title, are set to represent Malaysia in the First Tech Challenge in Texas, USA, scheduled for April 2024.

Makerlab Advanced Track Program
Advanced Tracks Program is a program organized by the Penang Science Cluster for MakerLab schools where students will be trained in soft skills and technical skills to build advanced projects to compete for the top prizes in Penang Makerfest 2023.
ViTrox Technologies supported the program as the main sponsor in 2023. With the coordination and support from VA, this event successfully benefited 143 secondary school students around Penang.
Girls in Engineering & Tech(GET)
To inspire more female students in joining the engineering and tech field, ViTrox participated in the Girls in Engineering & Tech program organized by the Penang Science Cluster.
ViTrox is one of the industries in the GET community, providing learning spaces, industrial visitations and female tech volunteers in supporting the program. ViTrox Academy as the education arm of ViTrox, providing learning space and trainers in supporting the young females in pursuing their engineering dreams!
